1. THE ORIGINAL ARCHIBALD: 1 TASTE SIGNATURE, AND 2 USES
More than just a tonic, Archibald is... Archibald!
A unique signature taste which can be used for different purposes, which is what makes it successful.
In the mouth
Very fine bubbles, a slightly marked bitterness with powerful herbal notes, even a little bit rooty. Slightly sweet, the palate is not saturated.
Enhancer of gin and other spirits
Archibald is a high-end mixer which boosts cocktails because it is an elegant flavour enhancer and it strenghtens the complexity of the overall aroma.
Another distinctive feature of our distilled tonic: when Archibald is diluted, the bubbling sensation lessens and then finds the right balance to highlight the flavour of the cocktail: it is all simply due to its low proportion of citric acid.
So because slightly bitter, without quinine and with fine bubbles, Archibald does not mask the aromatic of the spirits, but enhances it with elegance.
This is the reason why Archibald is acclaimed by gin and tonic lovers.
A completely adult drink, without alcohol
With its precise dose of bitterness and its herbal taste, Archibald can be enjoyed on its own, chilled.
Some people simply appreciate it in all its simplicity as a refreshing drink, while others enjoy it as an adult drink tasting like an alcoholic beverage, giving the impression of a gin or an alcohol-free spirit.
2. ARCHIBALD LIMITED BATCHES: UNIQUE EXPERIENCES
ARCHIBALD'S FIRST LIMITED EDITION:
A TONIC MADE FROM GENTIAN AND BERGAMOT DISTILLATES, AGED IN OAK BARREL!
An original and perfectly balanced aromatic profile: mixed or enjoyed on its own, this Limited Edition surprises and seduces.
From citrus to smoky notes: a true sensory experience
On the nose: Breathe in tangy top notes, zesty bergamot and fresh juniper berry, drifting into complex and enchanting middle notes of powerful aromas: bitter orange, roots, undergrowth, camphor, finishing on a deliciously intriguing bottom note of jasmine tea, softwood, and beech smoke.
In mouth: Savour the dominating bitterness with the powerful bite of the gentian, round and full-bodied. It is followed by delicious notes of grapefruit, earl grey, toasted oak, and finishes with empyreumatic and medicinal notes.
Enjoy it as a mixer with brown spirits or on its own
An unusual aromatic profile which makes for a unique mixer with powerful spirits, particularly whisky and cognac: its fine bubbles, its citrus and smoky notes provide freshness and complex taste, without modifying the initial aroma. Ultimately, the spirit is enhanced.
So, as simple as it is wonderful, use it to make a Highball: in a long drink glass, add large cubes of ice, 2 cl of whisky and our Limited Edition Archibald.
You can also enjoy it on its own: its aromatic complexity provides a real tasting moment and acts as an alternative to an alcoholic drink ... without alcohol!
How does it compare to the Original Archibald?
Like the Original, this new distilled tonic is balanced, complex and refined.
But what else? What are the differences? In terms of taste, this Limited Edition with Bergamot and Gentian distillates aged in oak barrels offers a more powerful aroma, typicity and slightly less sweet flavour.
